## What you can do once connected

- Create and edit short links with custom slugs, UTM parameters and expiry dates, on lots.link or your own verified domain.
- Make a QR code for any link.
- Organize links into projects and switch several links on or off at once.
- Read click analytics by link or workspace, and export CSV or JSON.
- Add custom domains and manage workspaces and teammates, in your role.

The LotsLink dashboard does the whole job too: links, QR codes, projects, domains, analytics and team. Your agent for speed, the dashboard for control.

## You need

- Cue access with an agent computer
- A LotsLink API key
- A LotsLink account. You can create one during sign-in.

## Connect Cue to LotsLink

1. **Create a LotsLink API key.** Sign in to the LotsTech API page and create a key for your agent.

```
https://www.lotstech.com/api
```

2. **Ask Cue to use the LotsLink API.** Give your agent the setup prompt below. Configure your key privately in its computer environment and ask it to start with a read-only request.

```
Use https://api.lots.link/docs to connect LotsLink from your computer. Authenticate with my privately configured LOTSLINK_API_KEY. First list my LotsLink workspaces. Keep credentials out of chat and logs.
```

3. **Give the agent its responsibility.** Say what the agent looks after in LotsLink, which source material it uses and how often it works. Ask it to report what it changed.

## What to ask next

- “Shorten https://example.com/spring-sale as spring-sale with utm_source newsletter.”
- “Make a QR code for the spring-sale link so I can print it on the flyer.”
- “Which of my links got the most clicks this week, and from which countries?”

## Questions and troubleshooting

### How do I connect Cue to LotsLink?

Use the LotsLink REST API from Cue’s computer. Create an API key at https://www.lotstech.com/api, configure it privately for the task and share https://api.lots.link/docs with your agent. Ask it for something read-only first.

### Can I connect LotsLink to Cue today?

Use the REST API from your Cue agent’s computer, following the setup above. Create a LotsLink API key, configure it privately for the agent and share https://api.lots.link/docs. Then ask Cue for something read-only first.

### Do I need an API key to use LotsLink with Cue?

Yes. Create one at https://www.lotstech.com/api and keep it out of chats, logs and committed files. Where Cue offers sign-in, use that instead.

### What does LotsLink cost?

Current plans and prices are on https://lots.link/pricing. Your agent’s own plan or usage fees are separate.

### Can I change where a printed QR code goes?

Yes. Your agent changes the link’s destination and the short URL and QR code stay the same, so printed codes keep working and keep counting scans. The change reaches every visitor at once.

### Can my agent delete my links?

When you ask it to. Switching a link off is the choice you can undo; deleting is permanent and removes the link’s click statistics and QR codes. Your agent works in your role: members change their own links, owners and admins change any link, and viewers read only.

### What do the click analytics include?

Recorded visits by link or workspace, with source, device and approximate location when available. Known bots, previews and prefetches are not counted.

### Cue cannot authenticate to LotsLink

Check that the API key is available on the computer doing the task. LotsLink API requests use an Authorization header containing Bearer followed by a space and the key.

### How do I set up a recurring routine in Cue?

Set the routine on the Cue agent responsible for the work. Include the source material and ask for a report. LotsLink handles each request the agent makes.
