Where LotsLink is the better choice
You don't count links
Every Rebrandly plan has a monthly number: 10, 250, 1,500 or 3,500 new links, and the same number of QR codes. A shop with a menu, a flyer, a receipt and a newsletter can reach 250 sooner than you'd think, and the next step up is $32 a month.
On LotsLink, links, QR codes, clicks and analytics are free and unlimited. The one guardrail is speed: up to 1,000 new links per person in any 24 hours.
Changing a printed link doesn't use up an allowance
Say a QR code is already on a window sticker and the page behind it moves. On LotsLink you edit the destination, the short URL and the QR code stay the same, and the change reaches every visitor at once. There's no monthly count. Rebrandly counts destination edits: 10 a month on Essentials, 50 on Professional, 150 on Growth, and none on Free. Your own domain for $4, and teammates are free
You point a DNS-only CNAME at customers.lots.link, LotsLink verifies the hostname and the HTTPS certificate, and you keep the domain with your registrar. Pay as you go is $4 a month per domain, charged daily from credits. Plans bundle domains: Starter is $9 a month for 3, Pro $24 for 10, Business $59 for 30 (yearly is ten monthly payments). Rebrandly puts one custom domain on its Free plan, which is a good start, and 2, 3 and 10 domains on Essentials, Professional and Growth. The difference shows up around the rest of the work: on Rebrandly, teammates start on Professional. On LotsLink everyone you invite is free, and the agent or dashboard acts with that person's role.

Every click shows where it came from
LotsLink records each visit with country, city, device and referrer when available, a daily timeline, individual click records and CSV or JSON export, on a free account and for any period up to 365 days. Known bots, link previews and prefetches aren't counted, and a repeat visit from the same visitor within 10 seconds counts once. LotsLink doesn't store visitor IP addresses, so there is no unique-visitor count. On Rebrandly, Free shows country and detailed data on 100 clicks a month; device starts on Essentials, referrer and city on Professional.
Your AI agent can run it
If you already work in ChatGPT or Claude, the same account works from there: create links, make QR codes, read click analytics, add and verify your domain and invite teammates, all on the free account. Rebrandly's MCP server covers links, analytics and workspaces too. Its docs say plan limits still apply to link creation, and they don't say whether QR codes or adding a domain are available through it.
Where Rebrandly fits
Rebrandly does things LotsLink doesn't. Professional adds conversion tracking, dynamic traffic routing, password-protected links, and Growth adds mobile deep linking and advanced role permissions. Rebrandly counts unique clicks from Essentials, lists SOC 2 Type 2 and HIPAA compliance on its pricing page, and its Enterprise plan adds SSO and a 99.99% uptime line. Its Claude connector signs you in with your Rebrandly account. If you need conversion tracking or routing by location or device, stay on Rebrandly.
Rebrandly vs Bitly
If you're weighing Rebrandly against Bitly, the plans differ in where your own domain starts. Bitly Free has no custom domain and 5 links and 2 QR codes a month; Core is $10 a month (billed yearly) with 100 links and no custom domain; a complimentary custom domain starts on Growth at $29 a month ($348 a year), with 500 links a month. On Rebrandly, a custom domain is on the Free plan and Essentials is $11 a month billed yearly. Both cap links each month.
