Link analytics

Free link click tracker for every short link

LotsLink’s free link click tracker lets you see which channel brings visits to your short links, from the AI agent you already use, and in the dashboard. Each recorded visit shows source, device and location when available. Bots, link previews, prefetches and HEAD requests are left out, and you can export clicks as CSV or JSON.

How it works

Ask your agent

  • “Which of my links got the most clicks this week, and from which countries?”
  • “Compare clicks from the newsletter link and the Instagram link over the last 30 days.”
  • “Export last month’s clicks for the spring campaign as CSV.”

Or in the dashboard

  1. 1Create short links for each channel, for example one for the newsletter and one for Instagram.
  2. 2Open Analytics and pick a workspace or a single link and a date range.
  3. 3Read the totals, the daily timeline, top countries and cities, devices and referrers.
  4. 4Export the data as CSV for your report, or ask your agent for CSV or JSON.

Your agent for speed, the dashboard for control: everything your agent does appears in your dashboard, within your role.

The facts

  • Clicks are free and unlimited on every short link, with no plan needed.

  • Each link shows its all-time total, clicks in the period, average per day, peak day, a daily timeline, top countries and cities, devices and referrers.

  • Counts are recorded visits. Known bots, link previews, prefetches and HEAD requests are excluded. Visitor IP addresses are not stored, so there is no unique-visitor count.

  • Your agent reads analytics over MCP (lotslink_get_link_analytics, lotslink_get_workspace_analytics) and exports CSV or JSON (lotslink_export_analytics).

  • Links, clicks and QR codes are free and unlimited. Fair use allows up to 1,000 new links per person in any 24 hours (rolling).

Questions

Is click tracking free?

Yes. Short links on lots.link, clicks, QR codes and analytics are free and unlimited. You pay only if you add your own custom domain.

Are clicks unique people?

No. Analytics show recorded visits, not unique people. LotsLink does not store visitor IP addresses, so it has no unique-visitor count.

What is left out of the counts?

Known bots and crawlers, link previews (for example when a link is pasted into a chat app), browser prefetches and HEAD requests. Location comes from the visitor’s network and is shown when available.

Do QR code scans count?

Yes, when the QR code opens the LotsLink short URL: the scan goes through the same redirect and is recorded as a visit. A QR code that points straight to another site bypasses LotsLink.

Can I export the data?

Yes. Export a workspace or a single link as CSV from Analytics, or ask your agent to export it as CSV or JSON.
